Bayern Munich and PSG 'make late swoop for former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can'

Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich could reportedly make a late swoop for Emre Can after Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri sanctioned his sale.

Juventus have failed to shift Sami Khedira or Blaise Matuidi this summer and have been left with a surplus of midfield options.

But, with the European transfer window due to close on September 2, Can could be the player sacrificed instead.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport say that Bayern and PSG have both made enquiries for the former Liverpool player.

Both clubs were linked with Germany international Can, 25, before he made the free transfer to Turin last summer.

Can's first season saw him play 37 matches, score four goals and win the Serie A title.

But, according to Calciomercato, Sarri doesn't intend using Can on a regular basis in the season ahead and will allow his sale.

Juventus kick-off their 2019-20 season with a visit to Parma on Saturday evening.
