Nigerian singer, D’banj through his lawyer Mike Ozekhome, has sued his rape accuser, Seyitan, for 1.5 billion naira.
Recall that Seyitan Babatayo had accused the singer of raping her back in 2018. Shortly after this revelation, a series of events occurred from claims that she was illegally detained by the police for over 24 hours to being intimidated, pressured and coerced by D’Banj and his manager. D’banj had initially sued her for 100 million naira after he celebrated his 4oth birthday party but it appears the case has taken another turn.
The singer through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, a well respected SAN, has sued his accuser, Seyitan, for N1.5billion. This was revealed in a statement that has been making rounds on the internet.
