“What kind of country is this?” – Singer, Cheque laments after he was allegedly assaulted by EFCC

 


Nigerian singer, Akanbi Bamidele Brett popularly known as Cheque, has alleged that he was assaulted by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The ‘Zoom’ hitmaker made this revelation in a post he shared on his Instagram story few hours ago. According to him, he was unjustly taken and assaulted by officials of the anti-graft agency.

He wrote, “I was unjustly taken and assaulted by the EFCC, what kind of country is this??”

It’s quite probable that she’s had some frustrating experiences during soem of her travels which led her to the conclusion that being a national of Nigeria is a curse, both home and abroad.
