Commendations have not ceased coming the way of the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, for appointing a listening, critical, easy going officer to manage the image of the Nigeria Police. Arase, with his inestimable vision, is widely believed to be spot on when he, on August 28, gave the Force its first female Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO, in the person of Mrs Olabisi Alofe Kolawole.
Many would have thought that the job was tough for a woman to handle. But those who have been following the activities of Mrs Olabisi will be bold to attest to her courteous and proactive disposition to her job.
