The thinking behind the name Saint West is probably pretty obvious to most and we were already expecting Yeezus or Jesus, so it's quite close.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced this evening that they had finally chosen the name for their son, posting a simple image of their family represented by emojis, along with their newborn's name, date of birth and weight.
In Christian usage, the title of Saint obviously refers to a holy person and it's well-known that Kanye does believe in God and was raised a Christian, somewhere in the Protestant sphere.
According to reports, he later renounced his religious roots and doesn't affiliate himself with any particular faith.
