Lagos - Former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi’s wife is dead.
Kate Keshi died late on Wednesday in the United States after a brief illness.
The former Mali coach, while mourning her demise, said he never thought of losing the 54 year old so soon.
Meanwhile the Nigeria Football Federation has condoled with the 2013 AFCON winner over the tragic incidence.
Report on its website said NFF President Amaju Pinnick spoke at length with Keshi over the phone on Thursday afternoon, as news of the tragic incident filtered into the public space.
Keshi and his wife were last seen publicly in Nigeria in March when they gave their daughter Ifeyinwa’s hand in marriage in Benin.
