Betty started off the year strong with an emotional win at the People’s Choice Awards in January 2015 when she received a standing ovation along with the award for Favorite TV Icon. In her acceptance speech, she said she was shocked to still be winning awards after so many decades in the biz — come on Betty, don’t sell yourself short! “Thank you with all my heart,” the Golden Girls alum said.
