Steve Harvey has revealed his “greatest regret” following his awful blunder at the Miss Universe show last month.
The comedian and Family Feud host opened up about how he received sickening death threats in the wake of the gaffe, and was joined by Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez for a chat on the Today show.
Both feature as part of the new two-part special, , Miss Universe: The Truth, for the 59-year-old’s daytime talk show.
Talking to host Natalie Morales, Harvey said: "I blew it in a big moment. And the person that was hurt the most was [Gutierrez].
“That was the greatest regret for me."
Following the embarrassing incident, which saw the funny man accidently crown 22-year-old Gutierrez with the Miss Universe crown instead of its real winner, Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach during the pageant, Harvey was bombarded with hatemail, insults and even death threats on social media.
