A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes. But a series of grainy pictures with possible PDA? Those are worth a thousand tweets in this day and age. After kicking off her Revival World Tour in Las Vegas Friday, Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom were reportedly seen getting "touchy feely" at Mandalay Bay's Light club. TMZ published photos of the alleged "hookup" Tuesday and claimed the singer and actor were seen "neck-nuzzling and embracing in a booth." Neither Gomez, 23, nor Bloom, 39, has publicly commented on the photo set, which instantaneously set Twitter ablaze.
Gomez arrived at the venue shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday. An hour later, the "Hands to Myself" singer grabbed the mic and addressed her fans, saying, "They want me to say something. I don't know what to say. I'm so happy you came out to party with me. Thank you all so much. God bless."
She then headed to a VIP booth with Bloom, who was in Las Vegas for a friend's bachelor party. "Selena was with a group of girlfriends and Orlando was hanging with his guys," an eyewitness tells E! News of the pair, who have denied dating rumors in the past. "Orlando went over when her friends were out on the dance floor and Selena was all alone in her booth." While they did seem "touchy feely," their actions may not have been as romantic as the pictures might suggest. "Security surrounded the booth trying to block what was happening," the eyewitness explains.
After Gomez's first-ever club appearance in Sin City was over, her friends and Bloom's friends left the hotspot together. According to one source, the Lord of the Rings actor and the former Disney Channel star "snuck away and got into a separate car together, just the two of them."
Now, let's get to the elephant in the room—or rather, the elephant who wasn't in the room. Since last year, Bloom has been dating Katy Perry. The "Roar" singer, 31, didn't join him in Las Vegas, as she was seen at a Renaissance Festival in California earlier that afternoon. That's not to say there's trouble in paradise, though. Last week, the pair attended the Met Gala together in New York City, where they wore matching Tamagotchis. Afterward, Bloom and Perry headed to Boom Boom Room to attend an after-party, and all seemed well. "They seemed really happy, by each other's side all night," a partygoer tells E! News. "If they weren't next to each other, he seemed to go over and check on her quite a bit." Meanwhile, Gomez—who walked the red carpet solo—eschewed the after-parties and opted for a night-in with friends.
