Dancing dogs aside, the secret to the BGT show’s success has always been the ambitious youngsters whose talent (and tears) have pulled on the nation’s heartstrings and had people reaching for the phone.

Who can forget little Connie Talbot who sang Over the Rainbow and even brought Simon Cowell close to tears?

Or young Hollie Steel who broke down on stage when she failed to make it through? Or pint sized Perri Kiely of Diversity fame?

Think back to Diversity 's first audition on Britain's Got Talent and you'll no doubt picture that cute kid with the big afro somersaulting across the stage.


But Perri Kiely is all grown up now!

The dancer, now 20, has left his teenage years behind and is rocking a serious six pack.

Posing in a topless sun-soaked snap next to his fellow group members Ashley and Jordan Banjo , Perri looks very different to the youngster who triumphed on the ITV talent show back in 2009.

The gap-toothed seven-year-old who melted hearts when she sang Somewhere over the Rainbow is a distant memory.

Now 15, Connie is preparing to release her seventh album, so already boasts an impressive recording career.
