..... Twitter praises Wayne Bridge as he deflects awkward question about 'footballers he doesn't like' on I'm A Celeb after his 'ex had an affair'
He famously fell-out with his Chelsea and England team-mate John Terry, after he had an alleged affair with Wayne's now ex, Vanessa Perroncel.
But it seems Wayne Bridge wanted to take the high-road on Sunday night's I'm A Celebrity, when he ignored a chance to have a pop at his fellow sporting star.
Choosing his words carefully when asked about footballers he doesn't like, the 36-year-old simply shrugged and said: 'You don't get on with everybody.'
Chatting to the likes of Larry Lamb, Jordan Banjo and Joel Dommett, Wayne - who is married to Saturdays singer Frankie - was lauded for being a 'nice guy'.
Diversity dancer Jordan started the conversation by praising Wayne for his character.
But joining in, the comedian Joel asked Wayne if there were many footballers like him, and if there were any he didn't like.
'Footballers aren't all d****,' Wayne responded, before skirting any issues with his past team mate by adding: 'There are a couple of people I might not have liked but you don't get on with everyone.
'I got on really well with Shawn Wright-Phillips, Mike Richards... I get on well with Scott Parker.'
But fans were quick to pick-up on Wayne's evasive line, with many praising him for refusing to talk about his spat with Chelsea defender, John, 35.
Taking to Twitter fans of the show declared their admiration for Wayne refusing to make any revelations about his past.
'Watching how much of a good guy Wayne Bridge is on I'm A Celeb makes me hate John Terry even more,' wrote @keegan_summers.
