.... as they shun airbrushing and 'false beauty standards' to celebrate mature women in Hollywood
They broke the mould with their 2016 calendar, famously shunning supermodels in favour of 'women of achievement'.
And Pirelli has opted for a similar theme for its 2017 edition, celebrating 'natural beauty and femininity' by showcasing some of Hollywood's most glamorous and mature stars.
The 44th edition, which was shot Peter Lindbergh, features 14 internationally renowned actresses, including Julianne Moore, 55, and Robin Wright, 50.
The powerful images prove that less is more, with barefoot Julianne looking ravishing in a black bodysuit as she rests on a stool for the artistic shot.
Speaking about the shoot at the calendar launch in Paris on Tuesday, she explained: 'I had no make-up on, messy hair and puffy eyes from just waking up. But [Lindbergh] said "no no no, you are perfect."
'He celebrates soulfulness and doesn't think anyone isn't beautiful. He's so loving that I just couldn't say no.'
Meanwhile, Robin's glamorous shot sees her arch her lean legs whilst clad in a black vest and shorts, but achieving the picture was far from easy.
The House Of Cards actress revealed: 'It's difficult being in front of a camera and having people watching. I don't like exposing myself and being vulnerable in that way, give me a character to play any day.'
Another snap from the series sees Nicole Kidman, 49, who is seen in just a white vest, cradling her knees whilst her locks are swept into a bun.
'Female power is the courage to be yourself, to be able to walk into a room and be yourself,' she reasoned. 'When he told me the different women he was shooting I was very honoured to be in that group.'
