#OndoDecides LIVE:Akeredolu wins polling unit with high margin

16:36 The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rotimi Akeredolu won his polling unit with a wide margin.

APC scored 413. PDP 13and AD 4.

15:23 Gov Olusegun Mimiko has won his polling unit.

His party, the Peoples Democratic Party scored 176, APC had 40 while AD got 25.

The PDP's candidate, Eyitayo Jegede also won his unit, Ward 02, Unit 009, Sacred Heart Primary School.

PDP had 184, APC 77while AD had 32

14:22- A combined team of security officials has arrested four young men while reportedly attempting to snatch ballot boxes at the Igbokoda, headquarters of Ilaje local government.

The men who  arrested and handcuffed have been taken away  in a police patrol vehicle to the Divisional Police Office in Igbokoda.


The suspects were between the ages of 25 and 30


14:14 - Election has ended. Sorting and counting of ballot papers have begun in most polling units

12 30 Security operatives have reportedly intercepted Hon. Victor Olabimtan, the DG of APC Campaign Organization along Akungba-Akoko road with 15 Ghana must go bags filled up with APC thumb-printed ballot papers.

11:59  Election has turned violent at Ward 2, Akure where angry voters are seen chasing away a party supporter who allegedly tried to buy votes with money.

At Ago Yeye polling Unit Oba road, Owo Local Government Area of the state, cast ballot papers can be seen on the ground while INEC ballot box has been shattered.


11:22 Some men were arrested at PU28/16/11/002, Okelisa Okedoko/Ogbodu, Ondo West, trying to disrupt the electoral process.


10:54 APC candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu has just cast his vote.
