Smalling Confident United Will Match Chelsea

Craig Smalling has stated confidently that Manchester United will be better against Chelsea than they were the first time out.

United lost 4-0 the first time they played Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge, but have gone on a 17-match unbeaten run in the league since then.

Chelsea face Smalling’s United in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup at the Stamford Bridge on Monday.

“Chelsea have been by far the most consistent team in the league and they deserve to be in the position where they are now,” Smalling, who was part of the United team that won the FA Cup last season, told MUTV.

“But I think we are on a good run and we will give a much better account of ourselves than we did last time.”
