Barely a week ago after the internet was inundated with reports that multi-award winning singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name, Davido, has acquired a private jet – a story he confirmed – a media report has called out the DMW boss for conceding prominence to the acquisition.
Last week, the popular singer had announced the purchase, barely a week after he had acquired a Porsche as a birthday gift for his girlfriend, Chioma and did released a song dedicated to her, titled Assurance.
“Air OBO soon land. This one nah final. Bought already… It’s not soup it’s hard work and ambition,” Davido had posted on Twitter.
However, TheCapital reports that Davido’s stake in the private jet is actually a “fractional ownership”, adding that major financiers have chosen to play down their involvement to give Davido conceded prominence.
The arrangement, the report says, is ultimately aimed at attracting lucrative deals from multinational businesses, countries and other foreign entities.
The Assurance crooner who seems to be in a good mood took to Snapchat to react to the allegations.

He wrote: ““You no get money dem golaff u… u come get money dem go say u proud… naija which way na…”
