Arsenal Complete Free Signing Of 34-Year-Old Juventus Defender Stephan Lichtsteiner

Arsenal have announced that Stephan Lichtsteiner will join the club from Juventus on July 1.
Stephan Lichtsteiner spent the last seven seasons in Turin, but the full-back will now link up with the Premier League outfit once his Juventus deal has expired at the end of the month.
Emery told the club’s official website: “Stephan brings huge experience and leadership to our squad. He’s a player with great quality with a very positive and determined attitude. Stephan will improve us on and off the pitch.”
During his time with Juventus the 34-year-old sampled plenty of success, winning seven Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia on four occasions. Before moving to the Bianconeri he also won the Coppa with Lazio.

Arsenal teased the move by asking fans on Twitter to name the nine Arsenal players going to this summer’s World Cup – with Lichtsteiner being No 9.
The move was then confirmed with a short video clip of Lichtsteiner, wearing an Arsenal polo shirt, saying ‘nothing gets past us’.
