Report: Athletic Bilbao Make €20m Bid For Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta

Athletic Bilbao have reportedly made a bid for Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta.

Bilbao have offered €20m (£18m) for Cesar Azpilicueta signature, according to El Gol Digital.

The report suggests that Azpilicueta is keen to return to his homeland after spending six years with the Blues and would be open to the move.


The report goes on to claim that Chelsea will reportedly allow him to leave if they secure the services of Joao Miranda from Inter Milan.

Azpilicueta has made almost 200 appearances for Chelsea since joining them from Marseille in 2012 and is Chelsea’s Vice-captain
