Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo Finally Demands Complete Overhaul Of SARS

Following the incessant cases of abuse of power by the  Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS), acting President Yemi Osinbajo has directed the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to, with immediate effect overhaul the Squad.
Osinbajo also ordered the IGP to ensure that all operatives in the emerging unit conduct their operations in strict adherence to the rule of law and with due regard to International Humanitarian Law and the constitutionally guaranteed rights of suspects. The acting President stated this on Tuesday in a statement released by his media aide Laolu Akande. This comes months after public outcry demanding SARS be disbanded.
