African Athletes Stranded, Forced To Sleep On The Floor Because There Was No Flight To Asaba

Athletes from across various African nations who came into Nigeria for the Africa Senior Athletics Championship in Asaba were forced to sleep on the floor at the airport in Lagos because there was no flight to Asaba.
The Asaba 2018  Africa Senior Athletics Championship is to begin today. athletes who tried to travel from Lagos to Delta state were stranded at the airport and had no choice but to sleep on their luggage and on the floor.

This incident is now being referred to as a national disgrace.
