Brigitte Nielsen emerges for the first time since welcoming baby at age 54

She welcomed her fifth child, a daughter, at age 54 in June.

And Brigitte Nielsen emerged for the first time since giving birth to baby girl Frida as she stepped out with husband Mattia Dessi, 39, in Studio City, California on Tuesday.

The actress, who turned 55 in July, cut a chic figure as she enjoyed a lunch date with her husband of 12 years, a few weeks after becoming parents to their first child together.

The Rocky IV star, who used a walking stick on the outing, showed off her slim figure in a semi-sheer white sweater, worn over a plunging slip.

She teamed the top with a pair of cream cropped trousers and plimsolls.

The blonde beauty accessorised with a blue floral scarf, a blush pink baseball cap and aviator sunglasses. 

Bartender and former model Mattia, who is Brigitte's fifth husband, showed off his hunky frame in a purple Armani Exchange t-shirt, worn with denim jeans and powder grey loafers. 

'If you do IVF, 80 percent of the time, it doesn’t work. It’s that phone call going: "It’s negative." It’s the waiting. It’s a lot. It’s a big, big journey,' said she.

'Another thing is it is expensive. It doesn’t come easy or cheap if you do it my way. I want people to know that,' the Rocky IV actress insisted.

Brigitte and her first ex-husband, Danish composer Kasper Winding, share a 34-year-old son called Julian, who has himself become an electronic musician.
