They recently announced their engagement after one year of dating.

And Katharine McPhee and David Foster appear to be going from strength to strength as they attended Simon Cowell's Walk Of Fame bash together on Wednesday.

The American Idol alum, 34, looked chic in a navy ensemble as she strolled into the swanky event in West Hollywood alongside her music mogul beau.

Katharine donned a pair of high-waisted pinstripe trousers, which were cliched around her slim waist with a thin leather belt.

She teamed her suit pants with a simple navy sleeveless top, giving her outfit an elegant edge by adding a delicate silver necklace.

The singer completed her look with a pair of denim effect Louboutin stilettos, while toting a blue velvet evening bag with a chain strap on her arm.

Katharine wore her shoulder-tickling locks in loose natural waves, while opting for a subtle make-up look, only enhancing her pretty features.

Walking by her side, David worked a smart casual look, sporting a pair of blue denim jeans and a crisp while shirt worn under a blazer. 

David got down on one knee in July at a charming Italian restaurant in Ana Capri, the top of the island of Capri, Italy.

This will be a fifth marriage for David and a second for Katharine.
