Katie's mother is understandably concerned about her new suitor, who Katie started dating months after she split from loverat Kieran Hayler, as they meet for the first time.
In a teaser ahead of tonight's episode, Amy utters: 'Oh dear, you're a lot younger' as Kris greets her for the first time.
Opening up about her concerns to the camera, she adds: 'I thought "here we go, another young one, yet again." I hoped Kate would go for an older man this time and not so soon.'
Although Katie admits he isn't her usual type, Amy uses the opportunity to call her daughter's beau pale, which doesn't go down well with the personal trainer.
Kris says: 'How am I going to win you over? I don't understand this.' However, Katie's mum insists her daughter should have stayed single 'a bit longer'.
Speaking to the camera, Katie warns: 'My mum has had enough of my exes. And probably thinks he's another cling-on.'
Back at the incredibly awkward dinner, Katie continues: 'If you don't win her over, you're gone.'
Monday night's teaser clip comes amid reports that Amy, who is suffering from terminal lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, is demanding Kris sign an agreement that he can't spend her money or have a key to her home.
According to The Sun, Kris didn't take to kindly to suggestion and 'tore up' the paperwork before throwing it into the 'recycling'.
