Real Madrid Vs Atletico Madrid: All Is Set For The 2018 UEFA Super Cup
After over 9 months of dramatic and breath-taking football in Europe, two of Spain’s best soccer teams will collide in Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup as Champions League winners Real Madrid face off against Europa League holders Atletico Madrid.
The city rivals will travel to Estonia for the first Madrid derby of the 2018-19 campaign, hosted at the Lillekulla Stadium in Tallinn as the duo contest their first piece of silverware of the season.
Real will have their first opportunity at winning silverware in the post-Cristiano Ronaldo era following his summer move to Juventus, while Atletico will be hoping a win will signal a major power shift in the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid have never lost a European final or been knocked out of European competition by Los Rojiblancos.
