Richarlison Aiming For PL Golden Boot At Goodison Park

Everton forward, Richarlison has his sight set on the Premier League golden boot and hopes to lead the Toffees to the UCL.

The Brazilian joined Everton from Watford in the off season, arriving for a fee of £40 million, he has paid dividends scoring three in two games.

Richarlison hopes to continue his hot streak and maintain his form, as he aims for a call up to the Brazil setup.

“I feel more prepared, I already know the rhythm and style of the Premier League, which helps me on the way to the achievements,” the 21-year-old told UOL.

“I want to be the top scorer of the league, take Everton back to the Champions League and reach the Brazilian national team.”

Indeed, he was left disappointed when he was overlooked by Brazil boss Tite, who named his squad for friendlies against the USA and El Salvador last Friday.

“I was anxious during the call-ups on Friday. I watched with a lot of expectation, but sadly it wasn’t this time,” he said.

“Even so, I’m still hopeful and I want to be prepared if the opportunity arrives in the future.”
