Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson put on a giggly display

They are one of the longest standing couples in showbiz, having been married for thirty years.

And Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson proved to be as strong as ever on Tuesday, as they enjoyed a day out in Portofino during their holiday in Italy.

The actor, 62, was seen laughing and joking with his wife, 61, as they strolled the village streets with their son Truman, 23. 

The acting couple looked completely relaxed as they stepped out for another day in the sunshine. 

Rita kept things casually chic in a navy cami and flared jeans, jazzed up by an array of necklaces, boho headscarf and trendy Aviator shades.

Meanwhile Tom kept things equally low-key in a white polo shirt, shorts and cap - making the most of the European heatwave while away. 

The couple were seen laughing and joking together as they headed for lunch in the famous coastal town with their younger son Truman, who had arrived earlier that day by speed boat.

The pair are currently enjoying a long holiday in Italy, and were spotted relaxing aboard David Geffen's Rising Sun super yacht, worth $200 million, in Capri last week.

Tom and Rita celebrated their 30th anniversary in April, with the actor admitting he still thinks his wife is 'smokin hot' last year.
