Strictly's Kate Silverton, 48, reveals she's dropped TWO dress sizes on the show.

Kate Silverton has revealed she's dropped a whopping two dress sizes since she began competing on Strictly Come Dancing. 

The presenter, 48, marvelled at her toned figure and emerging abs thanks to her two-stone weight loss - and joked that her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec is such a 'hard taskmaster' he won't let her have lunch.

'All these muscles that have been lying dormant so long have suddenly come back in and I'm getting abs again and everything,' the mother-of-two said on This Morning on Thursday. 

Kate went on excitedly: 'I had to be remeasured. I've gone down two dress sizes. I'm literally beside myself.' 

Discussing Aljaž's 'tough love' approach to training, she added jokingly: 'He's a hard taskmaster. I don't get lunch!'

She also revealed that she has a newfound love of dance, gushing: 'It is so addictive and so joyous. I would recommend it to everyone.

'Having started from absolute scratch, I'm actually feeling much more in my skin learning the steps and everything.'
