The Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne, Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, have arrived in Abuja.
The couple arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Tuesday afternoon as the Prince plans to engage in peace-building activities, including addressing the persistent attacks of herdsmen on farming communities in Nigeria.

The visit will highlight key themes in both nations’ relationship, including the importance of Commonwealth ties, youth opportunity, business and entrepreneurship, educating of women and girls, and defence co-operation, among other issues.

According to the British High commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, the Royal couple would be in Nigeria from Tuesday, November 6, to Thursday, November 8 as part of their nine-day tour of Africa. They will meet with President Buhari at the Presidential Villa as well as some of Nigeria’s dynamic youth as well as traditional leaders, the business community, the armed forces, and people from the arts, fashion and charitable sector.
