Brooklyn Beckham hints he is moving out of the family home

He enjoyed his first taste of independence after enrolling for a short-lived photography course at a US college.

But after returning to his native London Brooklyn Beckham suggested he is ready to fly the roost for a second time as he splashed out on flat-pack furniture at a Battersea branch of Sainsbury’s.

The 19-year old had his hands full as he moved a series of large boxes from his shopping trolley and into the rear of his waiting car.

As always Brooklyn sported his trademark Baker Boy cap over a characteristically casual top, loose fitting jeans and Vans trainers during his latest appearance in the capital.

With paint residue marking one leg of his cropped jeans, the teenager prompted speculation that he may well have been decorating a new home, rather than the sprawling west London property owned by parents David and Victoria.

Brooklyn has previously lived independently during a short stay in New York, where he spent several months studying photography at Parson's School of Design.

His purchase of affordable furniture at Sainsbury's comes after David and Victoria Beckham built their 16-year-old brother Romeo a £30,000 artificial grass court at their £6million family home in the Cotswolds.

Plans were submitted back in May by Soho House architect Michael Ergatoudis, who designed the Oxfordshire country pile and five months later aerial photos show the project has almost been completed.

Former Spice Girl Victoria, 44, is reportedly determined to make Romeo 'the David Beckham of the tennis world', with the talented youngster having already been mentored by some of the sport's most prestigious players.
