The Venezuelan-born Strictly pro went low-key for the outing in a tan coat, black leggings and Nike trainers.
Karen wore her cropped locks loose and went makeup-free behind large-frame glasses.
The TV personality - who moved to New York at the age of eight - looked as though she had a stellar Christmas as she toted a host of bags while carrying two jackets in her hands.
David opted for a grey jumper and jeans under a green coat, with his dark hair hidden under a baseball cap.
The opera singer demonstrated his chivalrous side as he carried the pair's bags to the car and opened the car door for his girlfriend.
The outing comes as David was spotted supporting Karen at an appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two earlier this month, where she broke down in tears after being eliminated from the BBC show with actor Charles Venn.
The pair were first spotted together in February, shortly before Karen announced her split from husband Kevin, 36, after three years of marriage.
Kevin was crowned winner of this year's Strictly Come Dancing with documentary maker Stacey Dooley, 31, earlier this month - marking the first time he had ever taken home the Glitterball trophy.
