Emily Blunt leaves her husband John Krasinski - and millions of viewers - in tears

Emily Blunt couldn't hide her shock as she was honored for her work in A Quiet Place at the Screen Actors Guild  Awards on Sunday night.

The British actress, 35, left her husband John Krasinski, 39, in tears with her heartfelt speech after being handed the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role gong, marking her first ever SAG Awards win.

'Oh my goodness me,' an emotional Emily began her speech, while John cheered her from the star-studded audience at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. 'Guys, that truly has completely blown my slicked hair back.'

'Thank you so, so, so much. I am so moved and completely lost for words and unprepared,' she added before thanking Krasinski, who also directed and co-wrote the script with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck.

'I am going to share this completely with my husband, John Krasinski, because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart directly.

You are a stunning filmmaker. I am so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you.'

Her husband Krasinski was visibly moved, remaining standing while his wife and co-star walked to the stage.
