Holly Willoughby almost hit the This Morning medic when she popped a bottle of prosecco while cooking with Phillip Schofield for the first time ever on Monday.
The TV presenter, 38, and her co-host, 56, were roped in to cover for show chef Gino D'Acampo after he called in sick on his way to work.
During the Valentine's Day themed cookery segment, Phil joked that Holly had 'hit the show medic' when she cracked open the prosecco live on air in the hilarious segment.
Phil joked: 'You nearly hit the medic... You've knocked the medic out!'
The huge blunder came just moments after Phil admitted the pair couldn't be 'trusted' so there was a doctor to hand incase they burnt themselves.
Phil said: 'First time ever on the air cooking by ourselves. We've got Julia our economist to tell us if we do anything wrong. She will not appear on the television.
'Because we can't be trusted because there is a doctor on site.'
The pair were tasked with making Gino's special crab linguine for the segment in a first ever for This Morning.
Holly questioned: 'Why are we using fresh pasta?'
Phil mimicked Gino's thick Italian accent saying: 'Much better texture.'
