Kym Marsh has given fans a first look at her new family home after finally completing work on the property she originally moved into in 2018.
The Coronation Street star, 42, had originally paid £500,000 for a three-bedroom pile in rural Cheshire last February after reportedly becoming fed up with life in Manchester.
But after splitting with previous boyfriend Matt Baker in April, Kym announced she was moving on with new man Scott Ratcliff and had purchased a new, five bedroom property closer to her parents’ home in nearby Warrington.
Writing for OK! in October the mother-of-three raved: 'Exciting house news! I've bought a new place and it looks like I'll be moving in before Christmas. I sold my house within two days of putting it on the market, so I had to find another place quite quickly.
'My kids also viewed the new place and all had to approve it, as it's an important family decision, but they're very happy.'
The house gives her an average 20-mile commute to her day job at Salford’s state-of-the-art Media’s Quays complex, where Coronation Street is filmed.
And after announcing she is leaving the soap after 13-years, Kym will no doubt have more time to appreciate her domestic surroundings – despite insiders claiming she could make a million from lucrative promotional work, panto and TV roles after filming her final scenes.
Taking to Instagram, the actress has given followers their very own Through The Keyhole tour of the property’s living room, as well as a glimpse at some of its many decorative flourishes.
A short video revealed a comfortable space filled with soft furnishings, while a tasteful built-in fireplace gave the room a welcome focal point.
