She recently expressed her disappointment at not winning America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
However, Susan Boyle, 57, who finished runner-up on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, looked in high spirits as she headed out in her native West Lothian, Scotland on Tuesday.
After admitting she still lives in her parents' old council house despite being worth a reported £12million, the singer kept it low-key in a cosy tracksuit as she waited at the bus stop.
Susan, who embraces her humble background, and still resides in her hometown of Blackburn, West Lothian, was dressed for comfort in her slouchy hoodie and matching bottoms, which she teamed with a black coat.
The opera sensation tamed her shoulder length locks in place with a quirky grey beanie, with fluffy ears and black eyelash designs.
After an action packed few weeks, Susan looked happy and relaxed in her own company as she waited for the bus to continue on about her day.
Shortly after her stint on the ITV talent show a decade ago, the former charity worker bought a £300,000 five-bed detached property.
However, Susan has revealed she's gifted the 'plush' house to her niece, while she lives in her old parents' home.
Explaining her decision to The Sun, she shared: 'It’s good to be in your mum’s house as well, there’s a lot of nice memories in my mum’s. I sort of feel she’s present here, somehow.'
The Scottish star's sighting comes after she failed to take home the winning gong on America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
The spin-off show brought 50 of the top performers worldwide from the franchise's history, with judge Simon Cowell previously insisting: 'It's like the Olympics: the best of the best.'
The top honour went to close-up magician Shin Lim, who won season 13 of America's Got Talent last year.
