The ex-Gogglebox star, 29, admitted her mum Betty has been 'ecstatic' to meet her new man, as she also confessed there's been 'no drama' in her blossoming romance.
It comes after Scarlett has endured a string of heartache which included a split from personal trainer Lee Wilkinson in April last year. Before that she also dated hairdresser Luke Crodden.
Speaking about her relationship with Scott for the first time, Scarlett told Lorraine: 'It's so embarrassing, he is very lovely, my mam is so happy I keep saying he's so normal.
'My mam is ecstatic I'm with a normal person, he's just a nice person there's no drama as well.
'Sometimes you have BF's and you go out, and come back and have loads of stories, we just go out have a nice time and go watch the telly.'
Last week it was reported that Scarlett had found love with policeman Scott, after the pair met in her hometown of Durham.
A source told The Sun at the time: 'Scott seems like a really stand-up guy. He could be good for her. The pair met through a mutual friend and hit it off straight away.'
The I'm A Celebrity 2016 winner had dated personal trainer Lee until April 2018, when the star branded him a 'cheating pathological liar' in a scathing social media post.
Her romance with Lee followed a long-term relationship with hairdresser Luke Crodden, who left her heartbroken when he broke up with her on her birthday.
