BREAKING: Kolade Johnson: Police Parade Suspected officers, Reveal Their Identities

Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan and Sergeant Godwin Orji have been arrested over the killing of Kolade Johnson, the youth who was shot dead while watching football on Sunday.

It was gathered that the 36-year-old was seeing an English Premier League match at a viewing centre around Onipetesi, Mangoro-Agege Lagos, when Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives stormed the venue to arrest a suspect because of his dreadlocks.

The attempt got the youths questioning the officers on why they arrested a man without identifying him, and in a swift, the officers shot sporadically with a stray bullet killing Kolade.

“An orderly room trial will be conducted against the officers, and, if found guilty, they will be summarily discharged from the police and charged to court for murder,” a police officer said.
