OAP Has Tendered Apology For Claiming Chidinma Sleeps Around – Manager

Chidinma’s Lawyer says the OAP at City FM who said Kizz Daniel’s “Fvck You” song is for Chidinma has tendered his apology.

You would recall we brought you news of a City FM OAP, Benny Ark who said the song “Fvck You” is for her. He also alleged that chidinma was notorious for “hopping” around the music industry. Remember also in the news that Chidinma’s lawyers demanded that the OAP apologise for his comments hence they would sue him.

Chidinma’s manager; Rasheed Ogunsanwo has now come out to reveal the OAP has apologised. He however said, they are not sure yet if they would allow for the case to be swept under the carpet despite the apology, he said they might still further seek legal action as the statement was really defamatory. He also said when Chidinma saw heard the OAP’s comments, she didn’t take it seriously as she just laughed, however, her management wants the matter taken up.

Rasheed said; “When she heard the news, Chidinma was just laughing. Left to her, she would not have said a word or written a letter to the radio station or the OAP.

 

It was her management that decided to take the issue up because it was blatant rubbish. If the story was true, Chidinma would have lost her cool.

“Chidinma is an artiste who doesn’t interfere in public issues; she just focuses on her music. It was annoying when an OAP came out to say what he wasn’t sure of. And he said it with so much confidence; that pissed everyone off.

““On Tuesday, we wrote to the management of the radio station. We asked them to tell us where they got the information from. I think he (Benny Ark) has tendered an apology. But despite the apology, we would still look at the situation and decide if we should take the matter up legally. It was obvious the OAP was lying.”
