The text exchange comes after Gwyneth got into trouble back in March when she shared a rare selfie with look-a-like daughter on Instagram.
Apple commented on the selfie, which was taken as the pair were riding a ski lift up a mountain: 'Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent.'
Gwyneth replied: 'You can't even see your face!'
