Seun Kuti, son of late legendary muscian and human right activist; Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has revealed Nigerians should stop channeling their energies to condemn “Yahoo Yahoo” boys alone but all other criminals that are spread around the country.
Seun who is popular for giving quick response to trending societal issues, took to his Instagram Story to viciously make the declaration. In the statement he released, he also indicated that many of these “Yahoo boys” are sons of politicians and business elites we have in the country.
He also revealed that the fact that Nigerian are selective in what criminals to chastise and castigate are the reasons we haven’t grown as a nation.
He wrote; “the yahoo boy is the legitimate child of the political and business elites. Our ability as Nigerians to choose what criminals to hate and what criminals to jump and dance for is the reasons we can’t develop especially when the criminals we shuck and jive for are the real DEVILS!! STIGMATIZE ALL NIGERIAN CRIMINALS AND NOT JUST THE YAHOO BOY!!”
