Barcelona will turn to Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford as 'plan B'

Barcelona will turn their attentions to Marcus Rashford if they fail to sign Antoine Griezmann or Neymar, according to reports.

Barcelona are looking for long-term alternatives to replace Uruguay international Luis Suarez this summer.

According to Spanish publication Sport, the Spanish giants are now monitoring the situation of Manchester United striker Rashford if they can't wrap up deals for either Griezmann or Neymar.

Griezmann has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona after revealing last month that he will leave Atletico Madrid this summer.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar continues to attract interest from his former club as Ernesto Valverde looks to build a side ready to win the Champions League next season.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be confident of keeping the England international, who came through United's youth ranks, as Barca's attentions will be fully focused elsewhere initially.

Rashford, who netted for England in their defeat by Holland in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday, scored 13 goals in 47 games across all competitions last season.

It was a disappointing campaign for the Red Devils as they finished sixth in the Premier League and were knocked out at the Champions League quarter-final stage.

And Solskjaer will be desperate to keep his star players as United look to claim a spot back in the Champions League at the end of next season.
