Tyson Fury's brother Tommy left stunned after being told on Love Island of Anthony Joshua's shock loss to Andy Ruiz Jr

Tyson Fury's brother Tommy was left stunned when he found out on Love Island that Anthony Joshua was knocked out by Andy Ruiz Jr.

Tommy Fury, who is a professional boxer himself, was unaware of the result due to having no contact with the outside world during his time in Majorca.

Tom Walker, who had entered the Love Island villa later on and had seen the fight, revealed the outcome.

Walker, speaking on the show's Unseen Bits episode on Saturday night, said: 'What do you think of Joshua's collapse the other day?'

Fury, seemingly unaware of the result said: 'What? What? Did he lose?'

Walker nodded to which Fury replied: 'F*** off, f*** off!  Oh my god, oh no. I don't believe you.'

Walker added: 'I just would have assumed you would have seen it.'

Fury said: 'Oh s***! KO?' and then walked away with his hands on his head in disbelief.

Walker continued: 'I watched the weigh-in... they shouldn't even be allowed [to fight].'

Another Love Island contestant Joe Garratt asked: 'Was he [Ruiz] in shape?'

To which Walker replied: 'No he looked like a bloke down the pub.'

Joshua's fight was sensationally stopped in the seventh round on June 1 as the referee deemed the British boxer unable to continue having been knocked to the canvas several times by Ruiz.

This was AJ's first defeat and he was an overwhelming favourite for the fight, hence why the Love Island contestants were so surprised.

Love Island began on June 3 but contestants have their phones taken away from them prior to the start of the show, which explains why Fury was oblivious to the result.

Joshua has made it clear in the past that he wants to fight Tommy's brother Tyson at some point in the future.
