Dani Alves scooped the 40th major trophy of his incredible career as Brazil triumphed in Copa America…

Dani Alves moved his trophy tally into the forties on Sunday night when he lifted the Copa America in front of a rocking Maracana crowd.

The Paris Saint-Germain right back has now earned 40 trophies in a storied career spanning 18 years and five clubs – not to mention 115 caps for his country.

Alves started his career at Brazilian outfit Bahia before moving to Sevilla in 2002. Following his move, the flying wing back started to collect trophies like they were going out of fashion.

He claimed domestic titles, including league and cup wins, at Barcelona, Juventus and PSG.

The 36-year-old won three Champions League crowns while with Barcelona in 2009, 2011 and 2015.

Alves has also enjoyed a successful career for his country, winning the Copa America in 2007 and the Confederations Cup twice in 2009 and 2013 before his second Copa triumph on Sunday night.

But who joins him in the list of serial winners of all time? Sportsmail takes a look...
