Mathias Pogba discusses his brother's future after completing move to Madrid-based third division side

Mathias Pogba has spoken out about younger brother Paul's proposed move from Manchester United to Real Madrid and insisted the midfielder will make up his own mind.

The elder Pogba, 28, recently made his own move to Spain, joining Madrid-based CD Manchego in the Tercera Division.

Mathias dismissed any suggestion this was with his borther's move in mind,

He told AS: 'It's all just rumours at present and there's nothing I can do about that. I'm in Spain because I want to be and it has nothing to do with the possibility of my younger brother securing a move.'

Mathias was also quizzed over whether Real Madrid's 7-3 friendly capitulation to city rivals Atletico would make any move for Paul more urgent.

He said: 'I didn't see the game but am aware of the outcome. I feel my brother could assist with any team, if he comes to Madrid, then it will be to help the team.

Mathias, who has also played for Wrexham, Crewe and Crawley, felt that the whole family were not concerned about Paul's move and would support him whatever his choice.

He said: 'We're relaxed about if Paul moves to Madrid or not... so be it.

'I always want what is best for him. If he feels Real Madrid is the best club for him, then he'll come.'
