The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were greeted by excited well-wishers they arrived in Mumbles, South Wales, this afternoon.
Prince William, 37, and Kate, 38, beamed as they strolled along the seafront to start a busy afternoon of engagements in the region.
The Duchess of Cambridge wrapped up against the blustery seaside air in a £349 coat from high street label Hobbs, which she paired with what is thought to be a vibrant red dress from Zara.
The couple appeared in particularly good spirits as they made their way towards RNLI's Mumbles lifeboat station, one of the busiest in Wales.
There they boarded a lifeboat and spoke to crew members about what it is like to provide 24-hour rescue services at sea.
Well-wishers braved the chilly seaside temperatures to welcome the couple to Mumbles, which overlooks Swansea Bay. They wrapped up against the cold in coats and Welsh flags as they waited for the chance to see the royal visitors.
William and Kate beamed as they waved to the supporters and took a moment to admire the view across the sea.
The wind picked up as they made their way towards the station, with one gust whipping Kate's hair up in front of her face. But the royal remained composed and quickly returned her half-up style to its polished state.
