Inmate Who Attacked R. Kelly Revealed, Says Government Made Him Do It

R. Kelly’s alleged attacker has been identified in court documents.

Recall that we reported that the embattled singer who is currently in prison was assaulted by another inmate while in his cell.
Now, TMZ reports that the inmate, Jeremiah Shane Farmer, has filed legal documents, stating that he is the angry man who launched the attack on Kelly in his cell.

Farmer claims “the government made me attack” Kelly but doesn’t explain how or why. He says he did what he did in the hope of shedding light on government corruption. And by “corruption”, he feels he was betrayed by the justice system.
Kelly’s attorney, Steven Greenberg, confirmed to TMZ that it was indeed Farmer who attacked his client.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana reveals that Farmer is a Latin Kings gang member and that he was convicted last year after a jury discovered he beat two men to death with a hammer as part of a racketeering conspiracy.
