“47 Percent Of Americans Believe The Election Was Stolen From President Donald Trump”

President Donald Trump has repeatedly insisted that he is the rightful winner of the 2020 presidential election and that the election was stolen from him. It seems that almost half of America’s likely voters believe the same. Ironically, a healthy portion of Democrats,  about 30 percent, also believe that the election was stolen from Trump.

This was revealed by the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and an online survey.

The Poll asked, “How likely is it that Democrats stole votes or destroyed pro-Trump ballots in several states to ensure that Biden would win?”

75 percent of the Republicans said that they believed that the election was stolen, with 61 percent saying that it is very likely, while 14 percent said that it was somewhat likely.

Among the Democrats, 30 percent said that they believed that the election was stolen with 20 percent saying that this seems very likely. The other 10 percent said that it was somewhat likely. While 69 percent of Democrats said that they did not believe that the election was stolen from Trump, the 30 percent who do is an astounding figure.

For Unaffiliated voters, 39 percent said that they believed that the election was stolen with 29 percent saying that this was very likely while 10 percent said that it was somewhat likely.

For all voters, this means that almost half, 47 percent, believe that the election was stolen from President Donald Trump by the Democrats. More than a third, 36 percent, believe that it is very likely that the election was stolen from President Donald Trump.

However, 61 percent of Likely U.S. Voters think Trump should concede the presidential election to former Vice President Joe Biden. 33 percent disagree and think that the President should fight to overturn the results.

When looking at the concession issue along party lines, 84 percent of Democrats believe that the President should concede while only 37 percent of Republicans feel the same way. 59 percent of voters not affiliated with either major party believe Trump should concede

The survey of 1,000 Likely U.S. Voters was conducted November 17-18, 2020 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
