A Nigerian lady took to Twitter to narrate how she lost a good research opportunity abroad because her lecturer/project supervisor said it's against his faith do to so because he is a Muslim and can't reference a Christian.
@Missiretijay who disclosed that she is yet to get it, said she cried after he told her.
She Tweeted;
"So this shocking story. Hmmmm I got a very good research opportunity abroad and I needed my lecturer/project supervisor to write a reference for me to seal the deal as it's a mandatory requirement from the school. Hmmmm
This lecturer told me that he can't reference me, because I'm a Christian and he's a Muslim, that it is against his faith to do such. Tears flowed down my eyes at the sound of his voice. I'm yet to get over this. I lost the opportunity and I pray for grace to forgive him
I'm still processing this, because it just happened. I still can't wrap my head around it. Thank you".
