Joe Biden calls Nigerian family to thank them for their support and invite them to the White House (video)

 


The 46th president of the United States, Joe Biden put a call through to a Nigerian family to thank them for their support and invite them to the White House.

Twelve-year-old Josephine, and her father, who are indigenes of Ibadan, Oyo state, spoke to President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

 

During the 12-minutes call, Biden praised Josephine for her intelligence and even cracked jokes with her. He also spoke to her father and asked where in Nigeria he’s from.

The president thanked them for their support towards having him elected as the 46th US president.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was elected the 46th president of the United States, after defeating President Donald Trump in one of the most divisive elections in U.S. history.

Biden’s victory sets a major milestone in American history. His running mate, U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris of California, became the first woman and first person of color to win election to the vice presidency.
