Willian 'Likes' Chelsea's Instagram Post Celebrating Their Win Over Arsenal

Arsenal fans would not have liked watching Chelsea outclass them in their own back yard.

Unfortunately for Gunners’ supporters, one of their own players did like their 2-0 defeat – literally.

Former Chelsea and current North Londoners winger Willian has landed himself in very hot water, after liking a Chelsea social media post celebrating the win.

The Brazilian did not even make the Gunners bench for the contest, which saw a debut goal from Romelu Lukaku, and a powerful Reece James strike secure a comfortable three points for The Blues.

Needless to say, Arsenal supporters are not pleased with the 33-year-old.

Mikel Arteta’s side are currently in 19th position after back-to-back 2-0 defeats to Brentford and The Blues.

Only Norwich City are holding them up, as The Canaries have a worse goal difference thanks to 3-0 and 5-0 defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City.

Arteta looked like he was carrying the weight of the world in his post-match interview with Sky Sports.

"They were the better team. When they play at their best, which I think they did today, they are champions of Europe,” said an evidently disappointed Arteta.

They have world class players and to match them at that level is difficult.

"In the first half it took us a long time to regain the ball in wide areas. We concede two goals but the way the team responded, and the crowd never gave up, it gave us hope in the second half."

The pressure has also been cranked up to nuclear levels as Arteta’s side are currently the largest spenders in this summer’s transfer window.

Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, and Martin Odegaard all arrived from Brighton, Sheffield United, and Real Madrid for a combined £110 million, but none of the three featured against Tuchel’s side.

£16million signing from Lukaku’s former side Anderlecht, Albert Sambi Lokonga was the only new signing to start for the Gunners against Chelsea.
