A young man preparing for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has gone viral after sharing the unusual method he used to make his footwear fit.
According to him, his shoe size was 47, but he couldn’t find a white rubber shoe above size 45. Determined not to miss out, he bought size 45 and decided to improvise.
In the shared clip, he is seen heating the shoes to soften the material before attempting to stretch them to match his actual foot size.
Fortunately, the shoe was a fit following the unconventional method, but netizens warned him against putting it in the sun to avoid the shoe from shrinking.
