#NickJonas Drops Sexy New Single ‘Close’: About Connection With #KateHudson ? - HollyWoodLife

OMG, you guys, it’s here! Nick Jonas dropped his brand new single ‘Close’ on March 25 and we already can’t get enough. The sexy song features Tove Lo, and the lyrics definitely seem to be about Nick’s super hot romance with Kate Hudson — he’s literally begging her to get closer to him!

Nick Jonas, 23, just completely slayed us. After announcing his upcoming album Last Year Was Complicated, the former Jonas Brother wasted no time sharing new music, dropping the record’s first single, “Close,” featuring Tove Lo, on March 25. We guarantee this track is going to be your favorite new jam, so take a listen right now and let us know what you think!

The song’s beat and lyrics (not to mention Nick’s voice!) are beyond sexy, and we can’t help but wonder if he’s directing the song toward Kate Hudson, 36, who he was photographed spending a lot of time with after his split from Olivia Culpo, 23, last year. On the track, he begs a special someone to get closer to him, and we’re totally swooning over this one line: “Space is just a word made up by someone who’s afraid to get too close.” Dead.

Nick and Kate have never come out and flat-out confirmed that they were ever romantic, and the 23-year-old even said he was single earlier this year, but he couldn’t deny their chemistry in a recent interview. “Kate’s incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other and see something in each other that’s beautiful,” he told Complex. “Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I’m not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She’s amazing.”

Nick’s new album is called Last Year Was Complicated, but unfortunately, it isn’t set to drop until June 10. “When I first started making [it] I thought I knew what it would be about… Then I had a breakup,” he tweeted, referencing his split from Olivia. “It then became very clear what this thing would be about… And that I would need to dig really deep. S**t is too real sometimes…  Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard.”
